2025 was a year of peaks and pits. Of becoming…and unbecoming. I started off strong scaling my bridal business with over 120% growth, doubling my clients, and investing deeper into my craft. I’ve always been passionate about being an artist, creating, bringing visions to life, and helping others feel confident and beautiful. But behind the wins was the hustle. The kind that costs you family time. The kind that looks like strength but feels like exhaustion. The kind that quietly plants doubt, making you feel I’m not doing enough. I tried to balance ambition with presence, especially with my personal relationships, and more specifically with my dad. Then the inevitable happened, and I lost him. Grief entered my life and took something from me. It made me question my creativity, my purpose, and whether this path still felt like home. The year ended under a cloud I never expected, that still lingers. But closing it out on new years eve with my final wedding job, felt like a gentle reminder of who I am, and hope that I become her again even though life looks different now. As I step into 2026, I’m choosing grace over pressure, healing over hustle, and trusting my spark will return in its own time. And just like that, it’s been 1 month since you passed and 8 days since we celebrated your life. You lit up every room with your smile, your Southern charm, and that infectious laugh. And now, life looks different without you here. You left unexpectedly, and everything changed, for me, for Mom, and for our family. The last moments we shared feel sacred now, almost meant to be, even though I didn’t know then they would be our last. I will miss hearing you call my name. But I’m forever wrapped in the love of our daddy daughter bond. I love you daddy, your little girl, always. 🤍🕊️ Nothing prepares you for losing a parent. Love your parents closer.
