I am SO excited to finally share that I’ve partnered with @hp to create Print Pals! Print Pals are printable paper puppets for neurodivergent kids to make at home with their grown-ups! And the best part is that it’s all free! (Link in bio!)
I poured my heart and soul into these little puppets over the last 2.5 months and tried to make them as sensory friendly and inclusive as possible! I truly hope you love them!
There are two different kinds of puppets to make, based on skill level. There are no raw edges of paper for your hand to scratch against. There’s a thumb grip in the moving-mouth puppet so hands don’t slip out, and there are lots of ways to put it together without getting your fingers sticky!

Getting the chance to speak with Elmo and Julia (yes, actual Muppets) from @sesamestreet , along with Dr. Abigail Bucavalas and Stacey Gordon, was one of those full-circle moments I won’t forget.
Not just because it was fun (though, let’s be honest, it was VERY fun)… but because it was meaningful.
As a mom of two boys, one neurodivergent and one neurotypical, this conversation hit home in a way that felt both personal and necessary. Bridging that gap, helping kids understand each other, and creating spaces where all children feel included isn’t just important... it’s essential.
What I love most about this work is how simple it makes something that can feel complicated: friendship doesn’t have to look one way. Connection doesn’t have to look one way. Inclusion starts with understanding, and often, with small moments.

Hey Phoenix! My friend @mychal3ts and I are headed to Phoenix to celebrate Mr. Roger’s Birthday this weekend with the @phoenixpubliclibrary ! We’ll be at Burton Barr making puppets on Friday afternoon at 3, and at South Mountain for Be My Neighbor Day on Saturday morning at 10!
