The pandemic has taught us a whole lot. Come to think of it, the earth has been giving us gentle reminders time and again. We paid little heed till she almost gave up on us this time and stirred us into a whirlwind. We’ve taken our relationships, nature, our freedom, and our lives for granted. Apart from the health hazards and loss of lives that this disease has caused, it has exposed our vulnerability too. We’ve seen the collapse of institutions, values, systems, routines, and many of us have found ourselves stranded and struggling to hang in there. Here’s our prayer for humanity, an apology, and sincere hope that we finally learn from our past errors.

While I throughly enjoy the process of planning a getaway, I was exhausted and almost about to give up this time, when we spotted this property. It was December and finding a place to stay in Goa which doesn’t burn an extremely large hole in the pocket or forces you to settle for something you like not love is quite a task. @puneetsam and I enjoyed our stay at this spot in South Goa.
If you are travelling with senior citizens or toddlers though, this may not be a great idea. You need to park your car/ cab at a chowk nearby and get into the hotel’s jeep and go through some short yet serious off roading to get here.

‘Abbey Road Institute, Mumbai’ - it was a beautiful experience taking a workshop for this prestigious institute in Mumbai which is probably the first in Asia. Meticulously designed classrooms with individual set up for the students reminded me of my sound engineering days back then contrary to where we had to struggle for individual hands on practice 😊.
It was a pleasure talking to the young students about Bass and its implication on modern contemporary music starting from how to record the instrument and how different bass tones enhance a particular genre.Glad to share my experience at the beginning of my career as a sound engineer and then explaining about my individual music and tracks which I have produced over the years.
Thanks to @puneetsam and @varun.parikh for having me there. Varun , I must say that your initiative of dreaming about it and bringing this vision to Asia for the first time is really commendable. More power to you brother 🤘🏻
