Introducing the latest Pulp Editions publication!
_Nautilus_ by Tristan Baia
_Nautilus_ is an accordion fold minicomic created by Tristan Baia. Featuring a mother-of-pearl inspired holographic debossing, hand-drawn illustrations, and Japanese Suminagashi water marbling along its reverse side, _Nautilus_ plays with the idea of holding onto secrets - and how secrets hold on to you. This delightful bookie fits in the palm of your hand, and in wonderful synchronicity, Tristan was able to print them on a paper named Nautilus too.
Tristan Baia (1999) is a queer artist and zinester in love with indie print media, zines, and paper works. They are currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

“Maepa is a distinct and necessary voice precisely because she turns inward. She excavates the emotional, psychosocial and rhythmic systems that structure interior experience, and she does so through a methodology that is entirely her own; language as foundation, clay as its consequence,” writes Donovan Mynhardt. Mynhardt contributed an essay on Amogelang’s work, The Mechanics Beneath Longing, for the publication.
