Just me… stretching, breathing, becoming. ✨
No pressure to be perfect. No rush to have it all figured out.Just choosing—again and again—to love the woman I am and the woman I’m growing into.
Some days aren’t about answers…They’re about presence.About honoring where you are without trying to fix it.
Today, I leaned into that space.I gave myself grace.I let God’s love meet me in the middle.
And I want to remind you—You don’t have to wait until everything is “right” to love yourself. You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to have a plan to be worthy.
SStart where you are.Breathe.Stretch into your next becoming.
You are already enough… and still evolving. 🤍

47 Pilates classes later… and I can feel the change.
Not just in my body, but in my numbers, my energy, my mind, and my spirit.
Movement has become more than exercise for me. It’s a way to release energy that’s been stored in my body, to breathe deeply, and to appreciate the body I’ve been given. It’s a moment in my day that belongs just to me — something that nourishes my mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
And the results are showing up in ways that matter.
After living with diabetes for 13 years, my A1C is now 6.5 — lower than it’s been in years. For over a decade my condition has not progressed, and I’m now beginning to come off some medications.
I know this is connected to several things — changes in how I eat and other areas of my life — but I also know something important:
this shift didn’t happen until I added Pilates into my life four days a week.
What I love most is remembering that this journey didn’t start with 47 classes.
It started with one.
Then two.
Then three.
And now, after searching for nearly 15 years to find something I truly enjoy, I’ve found a practice I want to carry with me for the rest of my life.
As I continue embracing a healthier lifestyle, I’m realizing something important:
We shouldn’t only do what we think we’re supposed to do.
When we find a practice…
a movement…
a way of eating…
or anything that truly brings goodness to our mind, body, and spirit, we should embrace it — especially as we age.
So here’s my encouragement for you this week:
Choose one thing that supports your wellness.
One walk.
One stretch.
One class.
One healthy meal.
One quiet moment to breathe.
Start with one.
And keep going — no matter what.
Your body, your mind, and your spirit will thank you.

Some days… it’s just a lot.
The world feels heavy.
The list feels endless.
The stress feels loud.
So today…
Don’t focus on everything.
Just take one step.
One foot in front of the other.
That’s how babies learn to walk.
Wobble. Fall. Breathe. Try again.
And once they master that…
They walk farther.
They run.
They jump.
They leap into their own lives.
But it all started with one step.
That’s how we do it too.
Be gentle with yourself.
If you fall down, pause.
Then get back up.
One step…
and the next will come.
đź’› Keep moving.
What’s your one step today?

60 days ago, I started Pilates.
After 18 classes, eating at home more, and focusing on what’s in my control (and releasing what’s not)…
today I rode 5 miles on the bike. 🚲💪🏾
And I’m posting this to remind you (and me): it’s a journey.
Health and wellness starts in the brain 🧠— with the choices we make, the thoughts we practice, and the grace we give ourselves when we don’t get it perfect.
Because failure is a teacher.
It’s uncomfortable on purpose — it stretches you, strengthens you, and shows you what you’re made of.
Sometimes God will call us to things that feel impossible…
and then the lesson becomes simple: one foot in front of the other.
One choice. One meal. One workout. One day.
If you’ve been feeling stuck: keep going.
Even if you fail. Even if you restart.
New habits are built exactly like strength — one rep at a time. ✨

2025 was a year of deep reflection, studying, purging, isolation for revelation, observation and acceptance. 2026 is GO TIME!!! When you see me you see all of her over the generations. ✨ Choose Love Anyway ✨
This season is stretching all of us.
The anger. The exhaustion. The grief. The confusion.
The way the world pulls at your spirit and dares you to react.
And yes—two things can be true at the same time.
You can be fed up… and still rooted.
You can be heartbroken… and still hopeful.
You can feel the pull of hate… and still choose love.
But hear me:
Before you choose anything… pause.
Breathe.
Return to yourself.
Love is not always soft.
Sometimes it is the discipline of not becoming what wounded you.
Sometimes it is the courage to stay human in an inhumane moment.
Sometimes it is the quiet refusal to let hate tell your story.
Honor your heart.
Honor your lineage.
Honor the parts of you fighting to stay tender in a world that keeps trying to harden you.
And when you’re ready…
Choose love anyway.
