11TH JUNE: Come out in Manchester to Pull The Plug on Palantir in our NHS!📢🪧✊
Pull The Plug on Palantir:
🗓️Thursday 11th June
⏰From 8am
📍Outside Manchester Central Convention Complex
🇵🇸Bring your mates, signs, & banners!
Everything you need to know about Palantir:
🔌 They provide AI software to the US that allows them to bomb Iran ‘at the speed of thought’
🔌 They create kill lists for the Israeli government to commit genocide on the people of Gaza
🔌 They help the Trump government to carry out violent ICE raids
🔌 And they have just been given ‘unlimited access’ to our patient data at the NHS…
If you wouldn’t let a weapons manufacturer run a hospital ward, why would you entrust health data to a blatantly immoral military company? But we have a chance: the contract between the NHS and Palantir has a break clause in February 2027. We say no to its renewal. What do you say?
This June, everyone with a name in the NHS and health policy-makers will come to Manchester for the NHS ConFedExpo, the biggest NHS conference of the year. This is when we are needed to show up in numbers, and let our voices be heard: there is no place for Palantir in our NHS!

We’re sick of the Tech Bro overlords dictating our futures, and we know you are too. That’s why we’ve created the movement to give ordinary people a say on how AI is implemented.
We’re calling on the UK government to fund binding Citizens’ Assemblies on AI and implement their decisions. By bringing together juries of ordinary people, informed by experts, to make decisions about AI, we can take back control from a handful of American tech companies overshadowing every aspect of our lives.
If the UK government prefers to listen to industrial lobbyists over its own citizens, we will take matters into our own hands and set up our own Citizens’ Assembly on AI.

Our next event in collaboration with PauseAI Oxford will be a talk from Jess Rapson on AI's risks and humanitarian potential. See you there!

We have a chance to pull the plug on Palantir's infiltration of the NHS: the contract between the NHS and Palantir has a break clause in February 2027, and, this June, health policy-makers will be attending the year's biggest NHS conference in Manchester. This is our opportunity to put pressure on the NHS to act in the best interest of its patients! We say no to the renewal of Palantir's contract. What do you say?
💛 On Wednesday 13th May we're hosting a meeting to discuss how we can take action against Palantir on the 11th June in Manchester. Join us.
