New memories in old places
Found a little Airbnb cottage on the water for pretty cheap to spend the days around Christmas with my folks and growing family.
You don't find much silence and "rest" for yourself in this chapter of life with kids this age.
As it should be. I'll never get a single second back. God knows I waste enough of them on my own.
15 hour drive up, kids had no screen time, almost no fights, no tears, no whining, they doodled, looked out the window and listened to stories. I'm so proud of them and where they are, and it's a little bitter sweet to be entering this new phase with them finally right before little Atlas joins us in May or June 😅. (Not sure if I mentioned on here, baby #4, boy due June 1st, Atlas)
