JROTC stands for Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, a Department of Defense program in U.S. high schools designed to teach leadership, citizenship, and personal responsibility. It is not a military recruitment tool, but a character development program (motto: “To Motivate Young People to be better citizens.”)
