#藝術家介紹 ​ #林壽宇 ​ Richard Lin（1933–2011）was born in Wufeng, Taichung. He studied in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom in his early years, and later pursued architecture and fine art in London. From 1958 onward, he devoted himself to painting. In 1959, he held his first solo gallery exhibition at Gimpel Fils Gallery in London, and in 1961, he received an award from the Institute of Contemporary Arts, UK. Over the following decade, his works continued to receive recognition and were exhibited internationally. ​ Richard Lin is known for his restrained, pure, and precise visual language. He often used white, lines, proportion, and empty space to construct his compositions, allowing seemingly simple works to reveal subtle layers and depth. #ArtBaselHongKong2026 #展會回顧 ​ PTT SPACE was honored to present Kindom, a solo exhibition by Taiwanese artist Ciwas Tahos, in the Discoveries sector at Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 during the five-day fair. Drawing from the Atayal legend of “Temahahoi,” Ciwas Tahos develops a contemporary reflection on queer identity, the natural environment, and the imagination of refuge. The presentation was also named by Art Basel as one of the must-see highlights of the 2026 edition. ​ We are also delighted that Ciwas Tahos’s works were met with strong interest and acquired by international collectors during the fair, and that we had the opportunity to engage in on-site conversations and exchanges with important curators and representatives of art institutions from Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and beyond. ​ Our sincere thanks to everyone who visited, supported, and followed PTT SPACE throughout the fair. ​ PTT SPACE 很榮幸於 Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 為期五天的展會期間，在「藝術探新」（Discoveries）展區呈現臺灣藝術家林安琪（Ciwas Tahos）及其個展「親界」（Kindom）。林安琪從泰雅族「Temahahoi」傳說出發，發展出對酷兒身分、自然環境與庇護想像的當代思考。Art Basel 官方亦將本展列為 2026 年不可錯過的重點項目之一。 ​ 同時，我們也很高興林安琪的作品於本次展會中獲得國際藏家的青睞與收藏，並與來自澳洲、印尼、香港、上海等地的重要策展人及藝術機構代表展開現場的對話及交流。 ​ 感謝所有於展會期間蒞臨支持與關注 PTT SPACE 的朋友。

#藝術家介紹 ​ #王一 ​ Wang Yi’s artistic practice originates from painting and expands through a variety of media—including sculpture, installation, text, and collage—using symbolic forms, colors, and materials as carriers to explore the broader potential of abstraction beyond questions of style. ​ As a member of China’s new generation of abstract artists, Wang Yi regards abstraction as a vessel for ideas: phenomena and thought ultimately manifest in distinct forms that respond to issues of nature and the city, historical culture, and social structure. #ArtBaselHongKong2026 #CiwasTahos ​ PTT SPACE is pleased to participate in Art Basel Hong Kong 2026, presenting “Ciwas Tahos: Kindom” at Booth 1C46 in the Discoveries sector. ​ Ciwas Tahos is a prominent Atayal artist from Taiwan whose practice spans performance, moving image, cyberspace, ceramics, and kinetic installation. Centered on the body, her work brings together Atayal belief systems, queer ecology, and reflections on her own position as Indigenous, queer, and female. ​ The exhibition title “Kindom,” proposed by curator Alfonse Chiu, extends from Ciwas Tahos’s ongoing series Finding Pathways to Temahahoi. This curatorial presentation overlays the two notions of kinship and kingdom, opening up a renewed reflection on queerness, ecology, multispecies life, and contemporary Indigenous narratives. ​ Our sincere thanks to everyone who has visited the booth and engaged with us. In their works, geometric lines and repeated color fields are employed to bring order through minimalism, while poetry is infused into rational structure.
