CAROL SANSOUR (PALESTINE - POÉSIE) Née en 1972 à Jérusalem, Carol Sansour grandit à Beit Jala près de Bethléem, puis finit ses études en Caroline du Nord. En 1994, elle retourne en Palestine et participe à diverses initiatives de terrain avant de travailler, une décennie durant, aux Émirats Arabes Unis. Elle vit à Athènes. Elle se considère comme une agitatrice culturelle et une provocatrice sociale qui s’intéresse aux identités post-nationales, postsexe et post-religion. Elle co-édite le site littéraire The Sultan’s Seal et a publié une première fois au Caire en 2019 son cycle de poèmes À la saison des abricots, éditions Kotob Khan.
Carol Sansour is a Palestinian poet and Bethlehem native whose first book, In the Time of the Apricots, appeared in a trilingual edition in 2019. She has worked in a variety of professions but likes to think of herself as a cultural agitator and social provocateur with an interest in post-national, post-gender, and post-religion identities. A proud mother and partner, she lives in Athens, Greece.

مواليد القدس عام 1972، تكتب بهدف التحريض وتحريك الراكد في المجتمع، متبنية رؤية تتجاوز الوطني والنسوي والديني إلى فضاء إنساني أرحب. صدر ديوانها الأول في القاهرة عن دار الكتب خان للنشر عام 2019 تحت عنوان “في المشمش”، وفي عام 2022 صدر ديوانها المترجم الى اللغة الفرنسية عن دار النشر السويسرية Heros-Limite وضم مجموعتها الأولى ومجموعة جديدة تحت عنوان “جميلة”. ترجمت قصائدها إلى الفرنسية، الإنجليزية، الألمانية، الإيطالية والإسبانية.
