On April 18th & 19th (6pm – 10pm), we’re doing something we’ve never done before, keeping the lights on late and opening up for dinner.
And honestly, we’re super excited because we’re finally collaborating with our good friend, Chef Brian from Psychotic Operator.
Why Baba Nyonya? Well, here’s a little secret: our very own Chef Jessie is actually Baba Nyonya! These flavors aren‘t just ”menu items“ to her; they’re the tastes she grew up with. We thought, why not take those traditional roots and let Brian’s creative energy run wild with them?
It’s going to be a fun, experimental fusion night where we rediscover the heart of Nyonya soul food in a way you’ve never seen. Plus, you’ll get to see that our friends at Psychotic are about so much more than just good wine, they’ve got some serious magic in the kitchen too.
Two nights only. Come lepak with us, enjoy the night vibes at Lorong, and let’s go on this little flavor adventure together.

It’s a well-loved neighbourhood wine bar for a reason and the person behind it is what truly made Psychotic Operator special. I was lucky enough to spend the day with @danclam , learning more about wine, the stories behind the bottles, and witnessing the passion and attention that goes into every pour.
Thank you, Daniel! I had such a fun time learning and shadowing you for the day. You made it look so effortless, and I can see why everyone keeps going back.

This time I was put at the front of house, experiencing a completely different rhythm away from the kitchen. It was constant movement, endless customer interactions, and the challenge of keeping the energy up while being on my feet all day 😮💨
