I'm proud to announce my second photobook "UNDERLAND" (link in bio), pictures I've taken in Michigan, Detroit and beyond, gigs, parties, cool stuff I see.... I love reaching out and staring into this weird, uncomfortable and beautiful space, being both observer and participant in a sea of creativity, strangeness and wonder. I'm really excited for this journey, and I have a lot of fun taking pictures at shows or wherever, so if you are in this book... thank you for letting me take a picture of you.
UNDERLAND is available in a limited edition of 50 signed hardcover copies, 120 pages of photographs on numerous cameras taken in numerous spaces. Each book comes with a special and unique print on archival paper. I've also done a second, hardcover printing of my first photobook GHOSTS. Both are available directly through me and through my Bandcamp site.
"Like every other aspect of Pete's work-- his music, his writing, the way he talks to people and navigates the world --- his photos acknowledge and embrace confusion. It's a type of relief to see this confusion freeze-framed, sometimes the only thing in the picture, and sometimes making more sense in a larger framework of dancing bodies or screaming freaks having as much fun as possible under new forms of duress. The blur is the point, the smear is the mission, the confusion is beautiful, and even if there are no clues for future equilibrium, it's unmistakable evidence of what life looks like right now." -
