I haven’t drawn anybody yet that didn’t make history. // doing a magazine cover has been on my bucket list since i turned 18. the process of this really helped me see how others see my work…how they define my style. thank you @whoremone and the entire team at @businessweek@bloomberg for letting me help in defining who @kamalaharris is for the October issue; to all the supportive messages I received when I posted about this on my story last week leading up to the release. someone said “your life changes after this” so…if anybody wants to slide me into something during Basel or knows how I can do the art for film (think Really Love, Story Ave, Exhibiting Forgiveness) those are also in the top of my list. hashtag manifesting…

after 16 hours of hand embellishing I’m still not done so while finishing a piece in 72 hours was the goal I did my best. The @malice companion to this “Diamonds & Pearls” Clipse piece representing adornment within black culture, will have to be done at a later date. Creating new works requires muses. Im halfway through my residency and need musings for painting. EDIT: Im looking for MEN only! Its on the second line! You don’t need to have experience, just an openness and willing to take direction. Open to all ages and backgrounds but PLEASE read the 1st and 2nd slide, swipe through for an idea of what I’ve created and images from my moodboard for the vibe I’m seeking to create. Models are required to sign a release allowing usage of imagery. Local to Richmond or open to virtual session (but if you are on my muse bucket list cc: @andreholland@zackfox or @viakofi I will find a way to make it happen!)
