The Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a response to working conditions for essential workers. It has since expanded to include workers from all industries organizing on the job for union representation. EWOC is an all-volunteer organization that helps workers locally build a union campaign with a union of their choice, or in some instances helps workers organize without a union.
