Calling all Composers! The Deadline for submission is July 1st, 2026
The Portland Symphonic Choir is excited to announce our annual call for new choral works from all composers.
We will select three compositions to feature in the PSC Summer Sings New Works Reading Session—an informal, collaborative forum aimed at fostering exploration, feedback, and artistic dialogue. From these three selected works, one will be chosen for a premiere during the Portland Symphonic Choir’s 2026–27 season. Each composer selected for the reading session will receive a stipend of $300. Additionally, the composer of the work chosen for the premiere will receive a further honorarium of $200, along with a live recording of the performance.
