From Wales in the United Kingdom to West Texas, Prysor Lewis is living out a lifelong dream. Now working at the 6666 Ranch, he describes it as “a dream come true to saddle up every day and do what I love.”
With a passion for the ranching way of life, Prysor also carries on traditional skills like braiding quirts and hackamores. As cowboy Boots O’Neal once said, “If you love what you do, then you’ll never have to work another day in your life.”
His story reflects the lasting influence of the American cowboy across cultures and generations.
We had the privilege of representing the 6666 Ranch along side Mr. Bedford Jones and family at the National Ranching Heritage Center for ‘Ranch Day’ today! We demonstrated how we use horses on the ranch, also answered a wide variety of questions from the audience!
Thank you for having us - it was an honor!

Had the great honor of carrying the Texas flag at the Cottle King County Rodeo Parade yesterday!
Paducah can sure show up when it’s rodeo weekend - not an empty seat to be had at the rodeo last night!
