Join us today at 2 pm for a matinee of (plan C) and then stay afterward for a special talkback with playwright Andrea Danee Peterson, director Fran Pruyn, and our stellar cast. Andrea will share the inspiration behind the play and the real stories that shaped it. It’s an opportunity to go deeper into the themes of the work and be part of a thought-provoking dialogue.
The show features Liz Whittaker, Nicole Finney, Bobby Cavalier, and Paul Naylor.
Once a year I have the honor of working with the other residents of The Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center. This year we are doing Carnival of the Animals and PYGmalion Theatre Company gets to be the tortoises introducing all the other fabulous animals/dancers/pianists. In addition to PYG regulars Barb Gandy and Tamara Johnson-Howell, our tortoises include the lovely Joanne Rowland from Bachauer Piano Foundation and the legendary Linda Smith of Repertory Dance Theatre. Honestly few things make me happier than to be there in the rehearsal room with these folks.
I am directing this fabulous show by the fabulous Julie Jensen. It is about class, the us/them mentality and monkey faces. I really want you to see it at the Rose Wagner Black Box opening October 4th.
