I think I set some constraints on myself and then the end result is both wow and meh for me. Like I wanted it to be gloomy and dark and made entirely on vector software, once I finished it I wonder how it would be if it's hand drawn or a raster illustration on procreate or Photoshop.
But for this challenge all posts are going to be vector and be turned into origami papers or wrapping paper or fabric!
Another important thing is I also tried the asti pot with two ghosts, I think we grow up seeing a lot of international patterns and these types of things are not found in merchandise. I can also see why, I don't think people will want a table runner with an asti pot but they would love a grave years ghost. Is that changing?
So exciting to do patterns! And I'm tackling the pattern challenge by Melanie johnson this year. Il be taking her feb month prompts and making a pattern each month of this year! This i did in feb but march has been intense and long for me to post this.
Things i have to check about this pattern is whether it's looping well! Il make a hand- drawn seamless pattern for one of the upcoming prompts.
The pattern is easier than the mockup friends!
