Founder and CEO Peter Provost took part of the launch of Kennesaw State University’s Center for Interactive Media (CIM) last week. We enjoyed joining the discussion alongside Asante Bradford (Georgia Department of Economic Development) and Guy Rousseau (Atlanta Regional Commission), with Dr. Mahyar Amirgholy moderating a thoughtful conversation on Smart Cities & Connected Communities. It’s always energizing to spend time with a group shaping where media, technology, and storytelling are headed-especially alongside such a strong mix of faculty, industry leaders, and public sector voices. The discussion underscored something we’re seeing more and more in our work: the environments we design-whether studios, public spaces, or hybrid physical-digital experiences-are becoming central to how organizations communicate, engage, and build connection. Excited to see how CIM continues to grow, and the role it will play in developing the next generation of creators in this space. #InteractiveMedia #XR #CenterforInteractiveMedia #KSUResearch #kennesawstateuniversity

The infrastructure behind content—studios, production environments, and flexible storytelling platforms—is becoming central to how organizations engage audiences, attract partners, and create long-term value from global moments like the World Cup. The inaugural SEAT: Sports, Entertainment, Art & Tourism event brings together leaders across sports, film, brand storytelling, and cultural development to examine how these industries are increasingly operating as one connected ecosystem. Provost Studio is pleased to share that Founder & CEO Peter Provost, Assoc. AIA will be speaking at SEAT on April 22 at Assembly Studios in Atlanta. Peter will join a group of leaders across media, sports, and creative industries to explore themes including: - When the World Comes to Georgia: Sports as Cultural Economy - Lights, Camera, ROI: How Production Infrastructure Drives Brand Value - What’s Working Creatively in Georgia SEAT, presented by Georgia Entertainment, Discover DeKalb Convention & Visitors Bureau and Universal Production Services in partnership with AMA Atlanta, will also serve as the opening VIP event of the Atlanta Film Festival. Looking forward to being part of the conversation. Additional partners include CineFi, Ramo Law, Quixote Studios, Resolve Media Group, ABS Payroll & Accounting, Classic Tents & Events, DoubleA Production, Kate Garnes and others. #AMAAtlanta #AssemblyStudios #GeorgiaEntertainment #AtlantaFilmFestival #SEAT

Attending NAB Show? 🎥 🌟 Be sure to stop by @roevisual (Booth C4925) for a 4K look at the NASCAR Productions Broadcast Studios. @provoststudio and @roevisual partnered on this project to help deliver a new kind of content ecosystem for NASCAR Productions—two interconnected studios designed for flexibility, scale, and continuous content production: ➡️ An XR studio for virtual production anchored by a large curved LED volume  ➡️ A second studio built for versatility across shows, standups, and serialized content, with integrated LED and adaptable scenic It’s a great example of how studios are evolving into always-on production environments—not just one set, but many. If you’re at @nabshow , we’d love to hear what’s standing out this year. The business of soccer is growing in the U.S. And with more fans comes more demand for content. Not just on matchday, but every day. For production teams, that means more types of content, tighter turnarounds, and less room for inefficiency. Atlanta United is leaning into that reality by building the kind of production environment needed to support always-on content - a full-time, dedicated media facility — described by the club’s Chief Business Officer as “one of the best content studios in MLS, and arguably in all of pro sports.” A studio designed to support multiple shows, move quickly between shoots, and keep teams focused on output instead of resets. Excited to have supported a project that reflects where the industry is heading. Inside NASCAR’s new studio ecosystem. Two stages designed for two very different types of storytelling. A scenic studio built for flexible programming and partner integrations. An XR stage engineered to place full-scale NASCAR vehicles inside immersive virtual worlds. Different environments. One system for year-round content. This reel shows what each studio enables. The full case study breaks down how the studios were designed to support year-round storytelling. /work/nascar/ Client: NASCAR Productions Project Team Lead & Scenic Designer: Provost Studio XR Stage — Creative Direction & On-Camera Broadcast Production Planning: Provost Studio XR Stage — Virtual Production, LED Control & Systems Integration: Disguise XR Stage — Virtual Content Production: The Famous Group Scenic Fabrication & Installation: ShowFab Lighting Design: Eastern Lighting Design Fixtures & Cameras: ARRI LED Panels: ROE #StudioXR #FanEngagement #SportsBusiness #ContentStudios #NASCAR

The most valuable studios aren’t the ones designed for a single show. They’re designed to support whatever comes next. Flexibility in the space allows production teams to adapt, experiment, and bring new ideas to life. Is your studio built for one production, or for the future of your content operation? Budgets change. $1.5M becomes $1M overnight. That’s when priorities are exposed. As Ivan Nelson, former VP of Video Production & Operations at Prudential Financial, notes in this conversation: Most teams cut infrastructure and protect equipment. But equipment evolves. Infrastructure endures. Secure the footprint. Build the capacity. Add tools over time. Future-proofing isn’t about buying more. It’s about protecting what lasts. If you’re planning a studio investment, ask: Are you funding gear — or building a foundation? Design that understands infrastructure. The future of sports storytelling doesn’t live only on game day. For NASCAR, it lives in the moments between races — the personalities, preparation, and narratives that keep fans connected year-round. At NASCAR Production’s new headquarters in Concord, NC, Provost Studio helped design and deliver two purpose-built production environments: ➡️ Studio 43: A cinematic XR stage capable of surrounding a full-size race car in LED volumes ➡️ Studio 3: A modular scenic studio that adapts instantly between NASCAR and partner branding Our role spanned creative direction, technical planning, and on-camera visual strategy — ensuring both studios function as true storytelling engines. Not just sets. Not just technology. But a platform where the sport lives on long after the checkered flag. This project was shaped by people who believe deeply in the power of story. Proud of this collaboration and the team who brought it to life. Studio constraints rarely begin with creativity. They begin with infrastructure. When a new format gets the response, “we don’t have the setup,” that isn’t a creative limitation — it’s a design decision made years earlier. Flexibility isn’t a feature. It’s foundational. In this case, flexibility was embedded directly into the architecture, integrating LED into the physical studio so the space itself can transform instantly. The graphics change. The depth changes. The entire environment shifts. The underlying structure remains. The hidden reason some studios can’t keep up? Flexibility wasn’t designed into the infrastructure from day one. Because tools evolve. Infrastructure endures. Studios designed for long-term adaptability: • Protect long-term investment • Reduce operational friction • Enable production to evolve A studio shouldn’t constrain the organization behind it. It should expand what’s possible. If you’re planning upgrades or evaluating studio investment, this isn’t a technical detail, it’s a strategic decision. For enterprise teams evaluating studio investment or long-term content infrastructure, the full Building the Dream Studio webinar expands on the framework behind this thinking: /webinar How is your organization approaching flexibility? #CorporateCommunications #StudioDesign #ContentOperations #VideoProduction #EnterpriseStrategy

When someone says, “We need a studio,” the first question usually isn’t about cameras or LED walls. It’s this: Do you have a base building budget? What often gets overlooked in early studio conversations isn’t scenic design. It’s studio infrastructure needs. A well-considered studio isn’t a collection of equipment. It’s an ecosystem built across four interconnected disciplines: • Building Infrastructure — the black box that makes everything function • Lighting — the element that defines tone, depth, and credibility • Scenic — what stakeholders see (and often over-prioritize) • AV & Technology — tools that require real operational fluency And then there’s the fifth discipline that determines whether any of it works: AV Display Content. You can invest millions in an LED wall. But if the organization isn’t prepared to create content at that scale, with depth, motion, composition, and choreography designed for camera, the space underperforms. Studios don’t fail because of technology. They fail when the organization isn’t ready to activate what it builds. A studio isn’t a purchase. It’s communication infrastructure. The question isn’t what you’re buying. It’s whether you’re prepared to use it. ▶ Watch the Financial Services webinar replay (link in our bio) /webinar #FinancialServices #CorporateCommunications #VideoProduction #BrandStrategy #StudioDesign
