Fresh Neal’s Yard Dairy cheeses just landed 🇬🇧🧀 Lincolnshire Poacher (in the back) This farmhouse cheese is made in Lincolnshire, England with raw cow’s milk and aged for 12–24 months. It boasts a smooth, bouncy texture with aromas of barley and brine and flavors of dried pineapple, hay, and candied pecans. Ticklemore (middle) A semi-soft bloomy rind pasteurized goat’s milk cheese from Devon, England that absolutely exudes luxury. From the supple cream line to the pillowy center, you’ll find flavors of lemon curd, wet slate, and crème fraîche. Cornish Kern (bottom) A hard cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk in Cornwall, England. Often considered a Gouda/Gruyère hybrid, it has a crumbly texture with complex flavors of tropical fruit, browned butter, and a hint of romaine lettuce. Feels like the perfect Saturday to put together a little outdoor cheese board & pop a bottle! 🥂

We have a very special tin from Wildfish Cannery for the tinned fish obsessed. 🎣 🐟 Black cod cheeks, hook-and-line caught in Southeast Alaska, gently smoked and packed in cultured butter from Fantello Farmstead Creamery. Rich, tender, and wildly limited. We’re super lucky to have gotten this special release at Provisions. Our specialty food buyer is a “freak for cheeks”… and we support it. Best way to enjoy if you’re adventurous 😋 🤪 Gently warm the can before opening, a warm water bath works perfectly, or let the sun do the work if you’re outside having a picnic. The butter turns silky and makes this a straight-from-can situation (no rules here).

When most people think of goat cheese, they picture the classic soft, creamy, tangy chèvre… but there’s a whole world beyond that! 🐐🧀 From soft and creamy, to semi-firm, to aged and firm, goat cheeses can be completely different from one another. ✨ Lake’s Edge = rich, soft & creamy ✨ Drunken Goat = semi-firm & fruity ✨ Brabander = firm aged, caramel-y gouda Not a fan of the “typical” goat cheese? One of these might totally change your mind! We always encourage people to test their taste buds, step outside their comfort zone, and try something new, there are so many incredible styles out there! There are still a few spots left for our Goats in Springtime class at our Mill District location on May 14th from 6–8pm! 🍷🐐 Join Alena, our cheese buyer, for a fun and educational evening of goat cheese and wine pairings!

No refrigeration needed, packed with protein, super transport-friendly, and so good. Crack one open and snack straight from the tin, or pair it with some crackers, bread, or a little spread moment. April showers bring May flowers… 🌸🧀 And in this case, we’re talking about Alp Blossom! Made in Germany in the Bavarian Alps, this cheese is coated in a blend of dried alpine flowers and herbs including marigold, rose, lavender, and more, harvested from the alpine meadows surrounding the pastures. It tastes as amazing as it looks! The gorgeous flowers covering the rind of this creamy, pliable cheese bring a light floral, herbaceous note to its savory washed rind, with a nutty, buttery finish that keeps you going back for more. We can’t think of a more “Spring Cheese” than this. Come grab some now! 💜💛💙
