Two pieces of equipment I can't live without: My laptop and my desk mic.
Yes, that's a sticker of a blender on the laptop because I'm a sound MIXER (get it? No.. okay I tried).
My laptop is my Homebase. It's the canvas I use when working on my projects. The mind is one thing, and I'm grateful for mine, but without my laptop I wouldn't be able to bring my ideas to life.
This mic has been with me through it all. I've bought it so long ago I don't even remember which model it is because all the logos have faded away. It's what I used to use for voice recording and now it's what I use to communicate with my overseas, or over the border friends and clients when we're on zoom talking about film, animation, sound, life, etc.
I'm very fortunate to have access to all my equipment, and I wouldn't be where I am today without the OGs right here.

Chainsaw Man asks what happens when a hero is shaped by poverty, trauma, and survival instead of noble ideals. Through Denji and Makima, it argues that real meaning comes from experiencing pain, failure, and imperfection, and that choosing flawed, ordinary humanity is an act of rebellion against control and false utopias.
Mainstream superhero stories usually tell us that suffering forges virtue and that power plus morality leads to salvation. Chainsaw Man rejects that fantasy and says suffering mostly just breaks people, and survival comes from small, selfish wants rather than grand ideals. That hits close to home because most of us are not chosen heroes chasing destiny, we are just trying to get by, find comfort, and hold onto meaning in a world that often treats people as disposable.
On top of that, the performances by the Japanese and English cast are downright breathtaking and heartbreaking. It's impactful storytelling combined with powerful voice acting, music and sound effects that inspire studios like ours to exist.
