Guess who has a new song on all streaming platforms called “Stone Cold Killer?” 👀 It’s us :) It was beautifully produced by @pj_kipunji and his sorcery, and mastered by the magic hands of @petermontgomerymastering . We really want to thank everybody who has had a chance to listen to it so far and if not, we’d love it so much if you did. We’re really excited to announce that we’re releasing our 3rd single ‘Stone Cold Killer’ on Friday the 12th of September. We’ve been working on this song for quite some time and we’re really proud of how it’s turned out, which was all made possible by @pj_kipunji and his magic hands. George Houston first played here at a Ghostlight Sessions in 2022. Muireann Bradley played a Ghostlight Sessions in 2023. Safe to say their careers have really took off since.
Just 2 months after her Ghostlight appearance Muireann was on Jools Holland Hootenanny and the world knew her name. She's since signed a 3 album deal with Decca and is acknowledged as one of Blues brightest stars.
George is just recently back from a US tour opening for The Modfather himself, Paul Weller and had his own Later with Jools Holland appearance about a month ago.
We're really looking forward to welcoming them both back to The Balor this week. George headlines our August Ghostlight Sessions on Thursday 14th along with Boy M5 and Proton Pool Party.
Muireann plays a hotly anticipated hometown gig on Saturday 16th.
