Over 90% of cyber attacks involve some form of social engineering, making it critical that you stay vigilant. Social engineering is a manipulation tactic where a hacker exploits human weakness to gain private information – that may be from not having good online cybersecurity habits to being outright exploited by a malicious actor, face-to-face. While social engineering can take many forms, it’s important to understand what makes you vulnerable, so here are some tips: ✅Change your passwords and use 2FA. ✅Check URLs before you click them. ✅Use a good spam filter (like ours). ❌Avoid sharing too much personal info on social media. ❌If the opportunity sounds too good to be true, it probably is. ❌Do not give personal info over the phone.
