Release day!
1. Inbetween State
2. Tokamak
3. U-235
Loosely inspired by the field of nuclear energy, I present three tracks exploring excitation, instability and release through the magic of raw and hypnotic techno. I wish I had more to say but the more I read, the more I realise that I don't know anything about anything π€·ββοΈ
Special thanks to the talented @bookeraudio for his expert mastering and @duplicityrecords for premiering track 1
Out now on all platforms
In the 00s and early 2010s, my primary way of finding new music was through blogs and forums. This world of curated, hand selected recommendations was like walking through a flea market; I would find hidden electro house anthems nestled amongst ridiculous troll bootlegs that I would download all the same.
All of this is to say that I am starting my own blog! (minus the piracy aspect). Algorithms, pinching setlists and the like to discover music are cool but for me nothing beats the intimate process of visiting a webpage and taking a punt to what some dude thinks sounds good and I will be that dude for you near daily.
Expect all flavours of electronic music but mostly techno. Link in bio
On Friday, "Something To Say" will be out on all platforms. This self-released EP features two tracks, largely inspired by the sounds of old Detroit - artists like Carl Craig and Robert Hood/Floorplan who were one of my first entrypoints into techno.
Whatever I listen to, I find that nothing gets me going more than returning to the Motor City.

ALLURECAST. 014 - @protocol__k
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For our fourteenth iteration of ALLURECAST we welcome back @protocol__k for a smashing mix!
Co-founder of @safarizonerecords , Naarm's Protocol K brings an uncompromising underground sound to dancefloors. A classically-trained pianist and cellist and a long-time devotee to all flavours of techno, he is able to effortlessly craft together four-to-the-floor heaters alongside genre-bending liminal spaces in his sets and production, filling the gap between where you are and where you want to go. Every rhythmic construct down to every sliver of static is utilised as his modus operandi with one goal in mind: get the people moving.
So once you have tuned in and really dived deep into this mix, we implore you to ask yourselves ~ have you been allured?
π¨ UPDATES (short story warning) π¨
As someone with a given name that fell outside the finite set of easy-to-digest Anglicised ones, I have never taken my own name, usernames and aliases seriously. Itβs hard to do so when the instinct of ~50% of people I have ever met is to use my given name as part of a joke upon introduction and clarification even in professional settings.
Cosmo Kreamer was a reflection of this, adopted towards the beginning of my music journey, playing in front of two mates not thinking that Iβd one day be playing to 20, even 200 people. I'm still very much small fry, but itβs time to leave CK behind and feel comfortable telling people my artist name without wincing. The tracks that comprise Dust and Gas were composed back at the start of this journey and it only felt right to use CK one last time.
Happy release day πΊ
