As a proudly veteran-owned company, Protector Brewery would like to thank all our brothers and sisters in the military community for their service this Veteranâs Day.
As some of you may know, the concept for Protector came about when our Founder and Brewer, Sean Haggerty, was serving in Iraq about a decade ago. He and his platoon had gone on an operation to capture a high value target, and when they returned to base successful, Seanâs thirst for an ice cold celebratory beer overcame him. He decided to have a home-brew kit delivered to him on base to quench that thirst, and it wasnât soon after his first batch was brewed that he knew he was hooked.
The culture of Protector Brewery has always had deep ties to military values. Values such as integrity, ownership, and being of service have carried us through these last 5 years and will continue to be our pillars.
