I wasn't able to visit all the bookish spots I had saved but the ones I did get to were absolutely adorable! Cafe Comma wasn't even a spot I had known about but I'm glad I got to stop in because they had some English translated books that I had to get my hands on!!
Already missing Seoul and I can't wait to go back again š„¹

Couldn't help myself and ended up finishing this book while at the mall AND Y'ALL?! WHAT IN THE WORLD?! I feel as if so much happened at once, I wanted to scream and cry but instead I just sat there in shock during some of the scenes.
I truly enjoyed this book! For me, it had some weak points but overall, I liked the story, the characters were written pretty well and I'm sooo looking forward to the second book!

I got through the first chapter of John Williamsā āAugustusā today, and I can already tell I am in for a book that will check a lot of boxes for me. Rise to power, political intrigue, history, all told through letters written by the people surrounding Octavius willed into the shoes that once fit Julius Caesar.
To start Chapter 2 with this passage of Octaviusās mother and step-father pleading he not take the seat that has been willed to him is more than enough to tell me I am up for whatever Williams puts me through. I cannot wait to dive deeper! - RO š

Current update: I'm 65% done with this book and I screamed every chapter!! This type of story feels familiar but Wolfe's dystopian world reels you in and doesn't let go!! It's also hard not to love each character (I'm currently rooting for Lira and Callum, those two have my heart fr!!). I don't want it to be over but at the same time, I'm excited to see how this story plays out!!
