KUOLIO FEST II MAY UPDATE
Achtung! We return from the voids with new tidings. This time around the warm-up event, or the Kuolio Club V, shall take place at the same venue as the main shenanigans. Yes, o brethren, Wanha Satama has allowed us to desecrate that hallowed hall for a day longer.
Come and witness WHISPER, DISGUISED MALIGNANCE and PROSCRIPTION making their presence felt. Again, tickets will be sold separately and they will not break your bank. Start your weekend a tad early and get a solid hangover & incessant tinnitus for the weekend.

The weekend is over and we are back at it again – this time with the 29th announcement – meaning we have only 8 announcements left before the big line-up poster reveal on February 10th at 16.00! Today we have another Finnish announcement in store for you, since Finland is one of the main countries for this type of death metal. So much good stuff coming from there, one should think they are putting something in the water up there? Anyway we are excited to welcome PROSCRIPTION back to KTDF, since they have a new album out and will perform the material at KTDF XI!!!
Born from the ashes of the blackened death metal cult Maveth, Proscription (@proscriptionband ) is the brainchild of Christbutcher, a longtime figure in the underground and a veteran of the early Colorado metal scene. After relocating to Finland, his unrelenting devotion to Death Metal found new form, channelling decades of experience into a singular force of abyssal aggression and spiritual violence. Where Maveth navigated the darker, blackened paths, Proscription expands the vision—delving deeper into the abyss with a sound that’s more violent, primal, and suffocatingly dark.
Their debut album “Conduit”, released by U.S. juggernauts Dark Descent Records, caused immediate waves! Proscription’s impact was undeniable: Dark Descent Records broke their oath of not signing new bands at the time, just to get Proscription on board with them.
