After 17 years Prop Planet says thank you and goodbye. Thank you for it all. Prop Planet opened 2 months after my daughter was born, early 2008. I have always thought that at the most challenging moments you must do the most beautiful things. And so I did and so it was. Hurricanes and a pandemic, floods and moves, many. But always a bit closer to perfect. Through the years Prop Planet was also a place where almost 100 dogs from the streets of Miami lived until they found their forever home, for this I’m forever grateful too. Now heading head first to sets wherever they may be. Nothing is for sale, because it may take a while and you may have to drive a bit out of Miami, but we will meet again in a different way. From Anthropologie to students stepping into a prop house for the first time, thank you to all that kept the store alive. Special thank you to Adam Dixon, who through all these years was as usual, fearless of any moves, construction or challenges.
Also a big thank you to Frankie Schaefer for your constant support and love for Prop Planet, even from far away. To my sister Andrea, you were the rock I needed through all these years. Thank you.
