Ciao, Casa Benincasa💫. Last week we closed on this sweet little place in Puglia (Italy). It’s been quite the journey and we’ll share more in the coming weeks and months, but for right now we’re just gonna leave this here. She’s not big or fancy, but she’s ours and we couldn’t love her more.🫶

Like any good journey, we’ve had a number of people helping us along the way, but a very special thanks to @nikkitaylors_ladolcevita and our lawyer @stefanialis - we absolutely couldn’t have done this without them and we’re forever grateful❤️

We are grateful everyday that we get to do what we love, with a crew we love (led by @itsmrsdates2u ), in our hometown; for these two kids😉 born and raised here, it just doesn’t get better.

New Focaccia Sandwich!
We love Italian food for many reasons - it’s the food and heart of our family and inspires us daily. No fancy techniques, equipment, or preparations-usually just a few ingredients, thoughtfully prepared to bring out the best in each other.
With only three components- roasted vegetables (marinated in olive oil and lemon juice) and freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano on our homemade focaccia- our newest focaccia sandwich represents so much of what we love about the Italian table and is both simple and sublime. Buon appetito!

Spring Fling🌱
For some, it’s the warmer temps and longer days; for us, we know spring has sprung when the Colomba arrives. This traditional Italian dove-shaped Easter bread has a rich and airy texture and is topped with pearl sugar and almonds (represents peace and renewal). Pick up while you can- Colomba are only available around Easter (like any good fling- they don’t last long😉) 🕊️
Honored to be named a top wedding vendor in @virginialiving ! We love what we do, but love our couples even more. Now if only every day could be filled with this much joy (and gelato) ❤️🍨

Though trading in caffeine and carbs, our real product- our best product- has always been conversations and connection❤️
