• Must be used with Liquid Release, use EZ-Tique for an antiquing look.
• Do not use POWDERED RELEASE.
First and foremost, practice with the stamps(dry run), learn how they lay down, how to “walk”
them down, and how the stones align.
Step 1.
•First Stamp:
Tamping around the edge of the tool before placing another tool down. It allows you to tamp the whole tool's outer edge while there are no stacked magnets, helping to avoid “birdbaths”
Step 2.
• For placement bend the stamps like a “taco”, then align and lock in the magnets.
• Do not drop the stamp, as this can cause stamps to miss align.
Step 3.
• Hold the handle while walking the stamp down.
• Avoid the bottom stamp's feathered edge.
• Also avoid stepping on the stacked magnets.
Step 4.
• Flip Flop edges for a seamless texture
• “Flip Flop”: Move the red tool to the top, and move the blue tool to the bottom.
This helps to blend textures. Erasing marks made by the edge of the tool.
Step 5.
• When tamping
subsequent stamps, treat
stacked magnets as you would handles.
• Do not tamp stacked magnets at full strength, as that will cause “bird baths”
Step 6.
• When picking up stamps, grab the furthest handle, roll the stamp back and lift straight up
• Do not lift at an angle other than straight up as that will cause imperfection.
Most Random.
• Stagger, Rotate, & Mismatch A, B & half tools.
• When stamping Non-Rotating stamps, they will either only fit one way or have handles indicating which way they align.
Less Random.
• Avoid grid like patteren and not rotating the stamps, unless that patteren is a non-rotating patteren.
