This isn’t a distant environmental issue. It’s already happening. We’ve lost half of our reefs in the last 30 years and are estimated to lose 70-90% by 2050. What will happen if we lose our coral reefs?
If you’re interested in art and planetary healing, you're in the right place!
Here’s a snippet from an interview with Anderson - coral scientist, ecologist and conservationist.

Do you remember the first time you heard the static of the Camera Obscura? 📸👻
I’m diving back into the original Project Zero on the PlayStation 2 today. Even after all these years, there is something uniquely terrifying about being a defenseless student armed only with an old camera against a mansion full of tormented spirits. No guns, no swords—just you and the shutter. 😱
This Italian PAL edition by CTO SpA brings back so many memories of playing with the lights off! 🕯️
I want to know: 1️⃣ What is the scariest ghost you encountered in the Himuro Mansion?
2️⃣ Fatal Frame or Project Zero—which name do you prefer?

🪸 Corals are animals (not plants!) that host microscopic algae called zooxanthellae, which provide them with energy through photosynthesis.
🏗️ Over time, their calcium carbonate skeletons create the very foundation of coral reef ecosystems.
⚠️ But rising ocean temperatures can disrupt this partnership, leading to coral bleaching and reef decline.
Healthy corals = healthy oceans = healthy planet. 💙

Feather stars aren’t just beautiful—they’re reef caretakers. By filter-feeding plankton and organic particles, they help keep the water clean and the ecosystem balanced. A reminder that even the gentlest lives can make a powerful impact. 💙

With every gentle pulse, it filters nutrients, fuels life through photosynthesis, and creates shelter for the ocean’s smallest residents. 💚🌊

This reef is dominated by branching Acropora corals (often called staghorn corals). You can also see some massive/boulder corals in the background. Acropora are fast-growing, reef-building corals and are a strong indicator of good water quality, but they’re also among the most climate-sensitive corals.

Batfishes glide through the reef like calm guardians—cleaning parasites, recycling nutrients, and keeping the ecosystem in balance. 🐟🌊
Quiet, curious, and essential, they remind us that every species plays a role in protecting the ocean we love.
