🎉 🏫We’re officially moved in to our new space, Lynn Hawkins Administrative Office, at 103 Lafayette St, Spartanburg, SC. One of three locations dedicated to serving and supporting our community. In addition to this new space, we continue our work through legal advocacy services located at the Spartanburg Courthouse and its emergency domestic violence shelter, providing safety, support, and resources to those who need it most. Each location plays an important role in helping survivors navigate healing, advocacy, and hope. A huge thank you to OneSpartanburg, Inc. (@onespartanburginc ) for leading the ribbon cutting ceremony and supporting this exciting milestone. We also appreciate the City of Spartanburg, SC (@cityofspartanburg ) and all of the city council members and police officers that stopped by to celebrate with us. Thank you as well to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office (@sptbgcosheriff ) for your continued support and presence. We’re also incredibly grateful to the community members, partners, and supporters who came out to celebrate with us today. Eventbrite registration is currently sold out, but tickets were mainly used to help us plan for parking and catering. Overflow parking will be available at our former office at 236 Union Street (about 2 miles away), and a shuttle will be provided to and from the event. Project R.E.S.T. is seeking a Homeless Outreach Therapist to provide trauma-informed, community-based mental health services to individuals experiencing homelessness. This role involves field-based outreach, clinical assessment, therapeutic support, and connecting clients to housing and essential resources. Clients from both Project R.E.S.T. and A Place To Call Home will be supported by this role. We are looking for a clinician with a Master’s degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related discipline) who is licensed or license-eligible in South Carolina. Ideal candidates will have experience working with trauma, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, along with a strong understanding of trauma-informed care and SAMHSA best practices.
