Meet Beth Benedix, a professor emerita of world literature, religious studies, and community engagement at DePauw University. A recent study showed that only 5.6% of pancreatic cancer patients are getting genetic testing. For PDAC, testing isn’t “optional.” It’s a Universal Germline Testing cancer. Translation? Every patient diagnosed should be offered a test. It’s literally the standard of care. Testing helps find targeted treatments and keeps families in the loop.💜
