We all want to take action on climate change, but knowing where to start can feel overwhelming.
Lucky for you, our brand new (HOT AF🥵) website is now live. It’s designed to help you fight those feelings of overwhelm and figure out where you fit in the climate movement, so you never have to ask “what can I do to help?” again!! 🫶
So what’s your answer?
Check out our Climate Conversation cards, made in partnership with @projectplanetaus and Dr Blanche Verlie from the University of Sydney.

Join us this Friday May 8 in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, or at your local for a beer and ask the government to Tax Gas, Not Beer!
New events are still being registered, so check the link in our bio to see if there’s one near you and RSVP.
Gathering on your own? Don’t forget to post a pic, tag #taxgasnotbeer and send it to @albomp
You’re probs across Climate, but have you seen it through an indigenous lense? ‘7Seasons’ and ‘SeaCountry’ explores exactly that.
Sea Country — Malu Lag follows Tishiko King — a marine biologist and proud Kulkalaig woman — all the way to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai. It’s a long way from her island home of Masig, but she makes the trip to try and save it.
A Patagonia film, Sea Country — Malu Lag explores the great healing power of the ocean, the resolve of a First Nations community to protect their island and culture, and one woman’s journey to stand up for the place she loves.
These docos spotlight the importance of First Nations knowledge, and seek to inspire the viewers.

Gas export tax is quickly becoming one of the biggest economic conversations in Australia right now.
Australia is one of the world’s largest gas exporters — so the question is simple: are we getting a fair return?
A gas export tax could raise billions in public revenue and help ease pressure on energy bills, cost of living, and more.
The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet is currently looking into it — which means public opinion matters.
If you think Australia should get a fair return on its resources, now’s the time to pay attention and have your say!!

You might be getting three free hours of electricity! ⚡️
Victoria is joining New South Wales, south-east Queensland and South Australia in granting households three hours of free electricity every day!
Importantly, this will benefit households who can shift their electricity use to the middle of the day (using technology like smart meters) and could save families up to $300 per year off their energy bills, and up to $1,070 if they have solar panels and batteries!
This is possible because Australia now produces so much solar power in the middle of the day that wholesale electricity prices are often extremely low — and sometimes even negative. At certain hours, the system is generating more electricity than it can use.
These schemes are designed to share the benefits of Australia’s solar boom with everyone — including renters and households that haven’t been able to install panels themselves.
It’s a rare example of climate policy delivering something tangible and immediate: not just lower emissions, but free power, every day. ☀️☀️☀️
No beach days. No transparency. No accountability. 👀
We spoke to punters at @lanewayfest Adelaide about the real impact of the ongoing algal bloom — and the frustration was clear.
With the South Australian election this Saturday, voters are gearing up to hold the government accountable.
Are you voting this weekend? Use @buildaballot to get informed and vote with your values! 🗳️
Our government is spending big money propping up the fossil fuel industry — $31,020 per minute — handed to some of the biggest, most profitable companies in Australia, at a time when everyday Aussies are struggling with surging electricity prices 🤯
The largest fossil fuel subsidy is the federal government’s Fuel Tax Credit Scheme, which cost $10.8 billion and mainly benefits multinational mining companies.
Imagine a world where these polluting fossil fuel companies were properly taxed AND no longer subsidised.
That world is possible. We just need our elected leaders to have the political will.
And that starts with people asking their MPs a simple question: Why are we still doing this?
Tag them below. Ask the question!
What does it take to get Australians engaged in climate and democracy — and what happens when the election is over? 👀
We’ll be unpacking exactly that in our session at @caw.syd .
Drawing on the impact of our @buildaballot campaign during the 2025 federal election, we’ll explore what it takes to cut through political noise, reach disengaged voters, and build lasting momentum for climate action through democratic systems.
