We’re so excited for the return of Clockshop Kite Festival this Saturday, May 9 from 2PM–6PM! This family-friendly celebration brings together communities from across Los Angeles for an afternoon filled with free art workshops, live music, dancing, and joyful connection in the park. May 9th Clockshop's People's Kite Festival is Back at LASHP! Come join us and fly a kite! More Hero Days!

Check out the events planned for May: Clockshop’s Kite Festival, returning for the sixth year. Saturday May 9th, 2026 from 2pm to 6pm at Los Angeles State Historic Park. This is for all age groups and is a family-friendly cultural festival that brings together diverse communities in Los Angeles through the art of kites and a day of joyful connection in this important public green space. Clockshop invites attendees to participate in free arts workshops, enjoy live music and dancing, and meet local community organizations to learn about their work in the nearby neighborhoods. 🪁🪁 Don’t for get to RSVP over at clockshop.org Find us, we will be there too. We will be coloring and talking about Monarch butterflies. May 17th Monarch Hero days are returning. We will be at Victory Memorial Grove at Elysian park from 9am to 11am. We will be watering and weeding the area. No experience needed and we will provide tools. Just remember to bring water and wear some sunscreen If it’s your first time remember to fill out the volunteer waiver form and if interested sign up to be a Monarch hero. We have lots of different volunteer opportunities

Absolutely can not get over what an incredible Earth Day event we had. Loads of fun.
