At this year’s Design Showcase at RMB Latitudes Art Fair (@latitudes.online ), Project Dyad (@projectdyad ), whose name speaks to balance: light and dark, soft and structured, bold and understated, will exhibit their latest items. Dyad’s leather bags and accessories are handcrafted with care in-house by a small team of artisans, and each piece is designed to evolve with time and wear and the interplay of shape, line and colour. Athena A (@brand_athena_a ) will showcase their handcrafted brass and cow horn jewellery that draws on Roman and Greek mythology, with each piece named after a goddess and made to be worn every day for years. Joinery (@thejoinerysa ), founded by Cape Winelands sisters Natalie and Kim Ellis, will have their colourful items available, turning recycled plastic bottles into considered travel accessories and bags. And with their triangular knotted shape, Margot Molyneux’s (@margot_molyneux ) oversized handmade handbags are the perfect accompaniment for daily life.
