Great momentum for my ENOUGH Act legislation - We recently launched a full court press for my transformational anti-poverty bill alongside, Harlem Children's Zone President and Founder, Geoffrey Canada, and we made big strides: ✔️ Harlem Children's Zone President Geoff Canada, CEO Kwame Owusu-Kesse, myself, and the bill's House sponsors had productive and positive meetings with Governor Maura Healey, Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll, and Senate President Karen E. Spilka. ✔️75% of the Senate has signed on as a cosponsor. ✔️I held a press conference with Geoff Canada and his team, Former MA Secretary of Education, Paul Reville, along with dozens of elected officials, union leaders, educators, nonprofit executives, and philanthropic organizations. ✔️The bill's first hearing received over 2 hours of supportive testimony from unions, advocates, nonprofits, teachers, and philanthropic leaders. Last year, I had the privilege of visiting the Harlem Children’s Zone and learning about their wildly successful outcomes for children, parents, and neighborhoods throughout Harlem. That visit inspired us to file the ENOUGH Act to bring this public-private partnership model to Massachusetts. House by house, block by block, Geoffrey Canada and his Harlem Children's Zone team have transformed their once struggling neighborhood into a vibrant and thriving community. This program has ensured families have their needs met, and children are given the tools to reach their full potential and enjoy all the best things our country and this life has to offer. Special thanks to my team for pulling this together and all their efforts to make this day a success.

Thanks, Modern Luxury, for helping Project Bread kick hunger to the curb. We were excited to sponsor a table at Modern Luxury’s To Live and Dine fundraiser, benefitting the extraordinary Project Bread’s mission to end hunger throughout Massachusetts. Our table, “Curb Appeal,” focused on the beautiful collision between construction, and a thoughtfully curated landscape, which welcomes, inspires, and leaves a lasting impression, long before one steps through the door of a home. Again, thank you for making this an event that’s as fun, as it is life changing. @mlinteriorsnewengland @e.bens @projectbread

Last Sunday, MSDA had an incredible time participating in the 2026 Walk for Hunger! 💚 @projectbread Thank you to everyone who walked alongside us, donated, and supported hunger relief efforts across Massachusetts. We are so grateful to have spent the day with such an inspiring community dedicated to improving food security and making a meaningful impact. As future nutrition professionals, it was especially meaningful to support a cause so closely connected to the values and commitment we uphold. Thank you again to everyone who helped make the day so special!

Incredibly lush tablescapes by multiple insanely creative designers for To Live And Dine Gala, a black tie with proceeds raised to Project Bread. Cheers & kudos to our auctioneer David Lombardo for his fabulous work!! I'm missing tagging many other wonderful partner sponsors who contributed to tonight's magic - love & thank you for your gifts ☆

Worcester showed up. 🥾💙 Rachel’s Table was proud to walk alongside 3,500 participants from 216 towns across Massachusetts at @projectbread ’s 58th annual Walk for Hunger, raising $1 million to fight food insecurity across the state. With 40% of Massachusetts households experiencing food insecurity and SNAP cuts hitting families hard, this walk was more than a mile on the Boston Common. It was a statement. Team donations are still open! Every dollar goes directly toward fresh food and milk for families across Worcester County. Link in bio. 🥛🍞 Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, and shared. #WalkForHunger #ProjectBread #RachelsTable #Worcester #FoodRescue

Our Boston Teens showed up with purpose at this year’s @projectbread Walk for Hunger, stepping up, giving back, and making every mile count. Whether walking together at the event or virtually in their own neighborhoods, our teens and parents came together to raise over $2,500 to help fight hunger in our communities. This is what leadership, service, and compassion look like in action. We are so proud of our teens for using their voices, their energy, and their hearts to make a real impact! 🩷💙 #JackAndJillBostonTeens #WalkForHunger #CommunityService #ServiceInAction #StrongerTogether

In late October and early November, we experienced the largest ever disruption to SNAP when the Trump Administration chose not to distribute benefits during a federal government shutdown. The Make Hunger History Coalition (@makehungerhistory ) and Project Bread (@projectbread ) are working on a report evaluating how that decision impacted Massachusetts and how Massachusetts responded.   If you are a frontline organization such as a food bank, food pantry, or HIP vendor operating during that team, please take this 10-minute survey (link in bio) If you are an individual whose household was enrolled to receive SNAP during that time, please take the 10-minute survey linked in our bio. Participants who complete this survey can enter into a raffle for a $25 gift card.
