I was scared to death riding on the back of this motorcycle through Big Bend. Literally wouldn’t let my husband go over 45mph with me on there. 😂 I kept imagining the worst case scenario happening and prayed to Jesus the whole time that we wouldn’t die. Do it all for Insta, am I right? Lol.

I used to suffer from crippling social anxiety. It was so bad that I would have panic attacks in crowds. I have moved roughly 20 plus times which only amplified this and made each move more difficult than the last. The moment I would find safety we would be uprooted and move again. My father was in international retail so it required us to move at least once a year. I was bullied pretty severely growing up which added to the anxiety and magnified my insecurities. Man, kids can be so mean at times, but praise God for His redemption. I’m blown away daily at where God has brought me. He has pushed me into leadership roles, encouraged me to speak in front of others, to teach, and to walk into a room full of strangers without going into a full blown panic. He’s given me a heart for people and a compassion for our brokenness. Growing is always painful but the beauty that comes from it, makes it all worth it.
