Well, doggone it! My plans for a “grand return” this summer, partnering up with the paw-some @northshorexplorer aka. Renée from @bravodogtraining for some bark-tastic park portraits, went a bit astray. But hey, every dog has its day, right? Now that we’re in my favorite season, maybe it’s time for a re-bark-able autumn do-over! (Minus a few brain cells and a finger, but who’s counting?)
The fur-bulous portraits you see? Snapshots from my social-media siesta and my globe-trotting escapades. And let me tell ya, nailing these dog portraits? It’s ruff, especially for a perfectionist like me. But oh, so worth it. The joy, the wags, the woofs - capturing these canine moments is simply paw-fection!

Behind the Reel:
Last summer’s campout at Kentucky Lake? It was in-tents! With my shiny new @nemoequipment Osmo Dagger 3, I was geared up for a reel-y good time-lapse. True to form, I went on a site-seeing quest for that picture-perfect pitch. Yep, the tent and I did a dance till we found our spotlight!
Camera specs? My Sony A1 and the Sony 24mm 1.4 GM were snapping away, making every second count… literally! For those with a tech appetite: • F1.4, 13 secs, 1600 ISO, and 13-second intervals.
The pulse effect wasn’t just for show — wanted to showcase the tent’s true “jungle green” shade. But the campfire hue? That’s courtesy of our tent’s inner glow, sparked by a sneaky red lamp.
While the camera stole the scene, I was chilling in my Nemo Stargazer, swapping tales with @rojenski by the fire. But then, an ember decided to give me a warm reminder — a fiery signature on my hoodie! A toasty memento, wouldn’t you say?

What falls all the time and never gets hurt?
Is it just me or is it just hard to post these days. I tend to overthink my posting process and it didn’t seem healthy so I stopped. Life in the pandemic has been busier and feels like there isn’t enough time, but I guess it’s just something to get used to and manage better.
The pandemic has changed the way we think and create. Time to be prepared for what the future is now.

Uitwaaien - Get a breath of fresh air
Discovered this word on the weekend from my partners father. It’s a Dutch word for walking or running into the wind, especially during winter and the purpose of this is to feel invigorated while relieving stress and boosting ones general health.
It’s interesting to learn unique practices from different cultures that have a whole hearted meaning behind them, they simply remind you to enjoy the little things in life that help and elevate you.
So my suggestion and follow this practice a bit, you might feel weird at first but then you might thank yourself. Stay safe!
