WELCOME TO PROJECT 304 (130bpm + 174bpm = 304) 🌐
A little bit of background for you - Connor & Bob first met back in late 2022 at @slingers.barbershop
After a few haircuts, Connor spied the XDJ-RXs in the corner of the shop and they got chatting about their shared love of dance music/raving/DJing. Connor was (& still is until 28/02 😂) just a bedroom & house party DJ, whereas Bob had featured on lineups at clubs in London & Ibiza (but hadn’t played out in quite a few years).
Fast forward a couple of years later and they’d egged eachother on into getting properly stuck into DJing - Connor bought his first big boy controller (Pioneer Opus Quad, sexy bit of kit) and Bob had even started production courses and releasing melodic techno tunes under his alias @bagheera_mus1c
In September 2024, they booked their first Pirate Studios session (so Connor could mix on proper CDJs for the first time and Bob could shake off the rust for a gig in Hamburg, Germany). They had such a wicked time that they started making these sessions regular, bringing a crew of mates along for a dance.
Unfortunately there is a max capacity of 8 people per studio, so they kept having to leave people out.
They wanted to start playing in venues big enough for everyone to come along and enjoy themselves - however they would have struggled to get on the same lineup at other events, as Connor plays Drum & Bass and Bob plays melodic/peaktime Techno.
That’s where Project 304 comes in! An electronic music event with multiple genres. Drum & Bass, Techno, EDM; whatever TurnTwo/Bagheera and the invited DJs want to play really!
It will be a proper fun vibe, and hopefully will introduce people to genres of dance music that they’ve never come across or heard at an event before.
The first event is at Dalston Den on Saturday 28th February - we can’t wait for you to join us!
