Choosing the right balance of colours and materials is everything in a kitchen design — it’s what turns a good space into a truly considered one.
For this project, we explored three distinct colour directions, each carefully paired with complementary finishes to show how the same layout can take on a different feel.
As part of our standard interior design package, we create detailed 3D renders to help our clients visualise these options before anything is built. It allows us to refine every detail, test combinations, and ensure the final result feels cohesive, intentional, and right.

For a moment of contrast, the powder room introduces a bold emerald green—adding a layer of drama and sophistication within an otherwise understated design.

Carrara marble flowing through every space
From the kitchen cooktop, splashback and bar to the butler’s pantry, island and TV unit, this project is tied together with one timeless material. Soft grey veining across a clean white base keeps everything calm and cohesive, while the detailing does the heavy lifting.
40mm and 60mm mitred edges give the pieces that solid, architectural feel, with the island stepping up as the hero at 60mm. The splashback runs clean with a 20mm edge, letting the stone read seamlessly across the space.
One material, multiple zones - designed to feel like one continuous story.

An amazing morning spent at Bodyworks in Bali. The colour palette of pinks and emerald greens, the arches and beautiful greenery make this place an absolute stand out.
Construction has continued at our Flinders project, tucked into a quiet pocket where a creek runs below and pastured hills rise to the west. Designed by Rod Hannah Design and built by Gem Taylor Constructions, this contemporary coastal hideaway sits just a short wander from Big Left to the south-east — one of the region’s iconic surf breaks.
With foundations well underway and the lower-level bones now set solid, works are progressing at a steady pace. The vision is beginning to emerge through natural materials, refined detailing and a calm, grounded approach to coastal living — a considered retreat in the making.

The kitchen and living spaces are anchored by stunning Patagonian Quartzite and black leathered granite benchtops, delivering both durability and timeless luxury.
