hello hello,
we have taken the last months off to re-organise and re-evaluate our values and philosophy. we have focused on internal team building and theoretical exchange that has culminated in this new manifesto. As we tried to tackle a broad range of issues, we have realized that our capacities are limited. This is why we believe that it is best for us to focus firstly on our local context, without negating the interplay between the global and local fights.
For this year, expect our community-events as well as more theory-based projects. Get ready for the P4E comeback!

P4E is so excited to be hosting our Linocut workshop stand, where you can upcycle your clothes with bold feminist prints ⭐️
Participation is donations-based and all proceeds will go to charity (organisation tba). Make sure to bring your own materials to print on ♻️

It was lovely for everyone to join - and hear so many perspectives, insights and stories.
During the discussion, we aimed to share perspectives where collective care can be seen as a transformative force for resistance, and the importance decolonizing narratives when it comes to agency and transnational and international solidarity.
Despite Taliban repression, Afghan women continue to produce knowledge through writing, research, teaching, and documenting their experiences, using these practices as forms of resistance.
Within solidarity, we aim to denounce how Western imperialism has used Afghan women’s rights to justify military intervention and for portraying them as victims not as primarily agents of resistance. At the same time, we denounce how the way knowledge is produced about Afghanistan’s political history often orientalises narratives and marginalises Afghan women and their agency: fostering an oppressive mechanism that acts both internal and external.

On Wednesday February 11th (19.00h), Film070 welcomes @project4equality again for a screening of Writing Hawa.
Filmed over a five-year period, Writing Hawa tells the story of three generations of women from a single family in Afghanistan. Director Najiba Noori delivers a loving and intimate portrait of her own family, her mother, Hawa, and her niece, Zahra, in their quest to emancipate themselves from patriarchal traditions as they navigate a new era of struggle in Afghanistan. This film offers a rare insight into a Hazara family’s life under the Taliban and captures the aspirations and struggles of women fighting for their right to a future.
Project4Equality, or P4E, is an intersectional, trans-inclusionary, and de-colonial feminist collective in The Hague. This screening will be followed by a discussion with members from P4E and Film070.
