One garbage truck load is equivalent to 8000lbs.

Donations ending up in landfills create major environmental, economic, and ethical issues.
To stop items from ending up in landfills, we need to adopt a “circular economy” mindset by prioritizing the 5 R’s: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, and Recycle. Key actions include composting organic waste, buying secondhand, repairing broken items, donating textiles, using reusable bags/bottles, and properly disposing of hazardous materials.

Join Bundles of Kindness on May 21st from 9 AM–1 PM at 11839 Sherman Way, North Hollywood, as we collaborate with LA Family Housing and Hope the Mission for a monthly homeless outreach event.
We’ll be distributing cosmetics, menstrual hygiene supplies, pet food, clothing, and shoes to individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the community. A special thank you to Project ReWear for providing clothing and shoes that will help so many people feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
