🚨 Wendell Needs Your Help 🚨
We received a call about a cat who had been hit by a car while crossing a busy intersection. Our volunteers searched tirelessly before finding him hiding in the bushes — terrified, injured and in shock.
7-year-old Wendell was rushed to urgent care, where exam, x-rays and ultrasound showed abrasions, road rash swelling, blood in his mouth, and injuries to his chin and paw… but miraculously, no broken bones or internal injuries.
But the road to recovery hasn’t been easy. Since the accident, Wendell has refused to eat, has been vomiting consistently, and has needed multiple additional vet visits, medications, and bloodwork to figure out what’s wrong.
There may be an underlying medical issue unrelated to the accident, but no matter what, we are committed to getting this sweet boy the care he needs.

Affectionately known as “Silly Dilly”, this adorable guy is equal parts cuddle bug, wrestler and tiny chaos gremlin. 😹 He’ll happily wake you up in the morning with kisses, demands for belly rubs and the assumption that everyone is ready to play immediately.
Dilly has a permanent injury to his left leg and walks on his wrist, but he doesn’t let that slow him down one bit! He does best with carpeted surfaces, handles stairs like a champ and lives life to the fullest.
He loves his foster cat siblings and would thrive with other friendly cats, but he’d also be happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only. Vinny came in from the streets with a wounded ear and a dream: to someday live indoors where the Churus flow freely and laps are always available.
Now fully healed, Vinny is ready to find his forever home — preferably one staffed by humans dedicated to cuddles, snacks and telling him how handsome he is at least 14 times a day.

Meet Armita Holly 🖤🤍
This gorgeous tuxedo lady is around 10 years old and proof that senior cats are truly something special. Sweet, gentle and full of love, Armita will follow you around with soft little chirps, happily accept head scratches and hugs, and spend her days window watching or cozying up on her favorite scratch pad.
Before coming to Project MEOW, Armita lived outside a corner store greeting every customer who walked by, hoping someone would finally take her home. Thankfully, one of our volunteers scooped her up, and now she’s safe indoors and thriving 💛
Armita is on a special diet to help manage kidney stones, and she’ll need a forever family committed to keeping her on it long-term. Since receiving treatment, she’s been doing wonderfully!

Cat Colony Care Needed
Project MEOW cares for a number of cat colonies in Southwest Philly. Right now, we need volunteers most on weekdays for colonies located within 2 miles of Clark Park. Meet Molly and Madeline, a sweet mom-and-daughter duo looking for a calm, patient home where they can stay together.
Molly (2 yrs old) is a gentle girl who loves pets once she feels safe. She enjoys cuddling with Madeline, relaxing in cozy hiding spots and watching the world from the window. She prefers not to be picked up, but her sweet nature shines with time and patience.
Madeline (1 yr old) feels safest with her mom nearby. She is very shy and fearful of people, and will need an experienced adopter who will let her adjust at her own pace. She may always be more of a quiet companion than a cuddly cat—and that’s okay.
