We want fair representation and TRUE visibility. We are finally getting more chances at casting because of Crazy Rich Asians and with Marvel's support, the new Shang-Chi film but there is STILL so much more to go and racism to battle every day.
The higher I rise in this world, the more good I hope to create and change. And as a rising star, I'm going up in every way possible. Training as a racecar driver to hit the track with focus, stamina, strength, speed, agility, reflexes and conditioning was exactly what I'm built for!!! This was torture at times but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love EVERY second if it👊Similar to any athletic training, we have to go thru some of the most rigorous training to not just be "good" but to be the BEST we can humanly be. My type of SUPERHUMAN training😤😡🦾
My resume and experience in racing, motorcycles, boxing, combat & athletic training won me this role and I felt right at home behind the wheel and in the gym! When all of the things you love doing become your career, you are living the dream.🙌🔥

Had SO much fun during this commercial shoot! I love working with kids and this time I got to work with the cutest & most adorable girl @addisonrainelopez She was so sweet and we were having lots of fun on & off set together. Taught her how to drive, how to do a 180 and drift🤣🏎️ She even took a turn on camera too!😆💕 We're the cover image all over their website, Amazon page and ads on IG + FB. She definitely stole the show and is a superstar! 😊💫✨

This birthday, I took some time to look back at the past couple of years. I've met some really great people. Done a lot of cool stuff. Drove a bunch of nice cars lol. (Lost my own precious car😭💔) Played some fun roles. Traveled to a lot of new places. At the time, I thought it was awesome. But in the grand scheme of things, what's really matters? With all the chaos and tragedy in the world, everything's been just a blur. My heart won't allow for me to ignore these things. For a long time, I felt like I was just on autopilot and surviving. Losing my pops really rocked my world. Nothing mattered for a long, long time. But as time went on, little by little, things started to matter again. Some were the same and some were different. Priorities gradually shifted.
My mom and family have always been numero uno. More than half my photo gallery is now of Turbo lol. Proud dog daddy🐶 I do as much work supporting dog shelters and rescues as I can along with other charities & foundations. And my career has yet again expanded into so many new opportunities for storytelling. Even when the world is literally on fire, we have to find our happy & keep going. Life is good and I'm committed to doing more good. That's my happiness. It always has been since I was 5 years old, doing good and helping people. I wasn't able to celebrate last year but now I can definitely look back with friends & family and celebrate how far I've truly come. Just a small town kid from Virginia who wanted more and just make his parents proud.☺️

It's been almost non-stop with work the last few months and I haven't been able to do much anything else. While I was in Costa Rica last week for a much needed breather, work still didn't let up with more auditions. One audition asked me to send in a fitness demo showing "proper form" and my knowledge of exercise and gym equipment. So scrolling thru Instagram and my phone I tried to scrap together whatever I could find. The result, I realized, ended up being a small love letter to the place I called my 2nd home for the last 2 years. A place where I found inspiration, motivation, knowledge, goals, drive, determination, passion & love. A place I could go after having a bad day and always leaving happier and in a better, positive mood. To all the staff, members, clients and more: thank you🙏💪❤️

Just a few of my favorite shots from an AutoZone commercial shootl I did. Took me back to the days I was always helping my dad work on cars. We never took pics and videos then, but looking back now, I wish we did. As a kid, I never thought those moments would be cherished memories one day. 🥺❤️ Then to getting my 1st car and always shopping at AutoZone, to even working there for a bit too. Life moment coming full circle😊
I know I'll say this a thousand more times in my life, but I wish my dad could've seen these. I think he'd either be proud or say "That's not the kind of clothes you wear to work on cars" 🤣 He'd always wear old clothes and use old T-shirts for rags and somehow, some way, I'd always find him doing dirty work in one of my GOOD SHIRTS😫😆 sigh lol. That's the thing I love about fitness, martial arts, health, wellness, etc. This journey we're all on called life. We can always grow, learn more, evolve. I used to always say I'm constantly evolving. Changing and growing every day. People come into your life and some stay & some leave. Some leave and stay in your heart forever. Your goals yesterday might not be the same as today or a year from now. Hobbies & interests come and go just like friends & trends. (Especially if you're ADHD😅🤣) I've definitely been battling a lot this year so far and one place I can go and find some peace is the gym. You never know what people are going thru or the massive weight they may be carrying on their shoulders. So here's to growth, peace & the strength to keep carrying on🙏🔥👊💪

Amidst all the turmoil in the world and L.A. this year, I've found peace and solace in storytelling again. After losing my dad, it was so hard to find the joy in acting and auditions. Even things like exercising and MMA have lost their appeal to me and my physical health began to deteriorate. So I took a long break and reignited something I'm equally passionate about; being behind the camera. I've been writing again, stunt coordinating, AD'ing and even got a couple of 2nd Unit Director credits under my belt.
Filmmaking is a process, a true labor of love. From the birth of an idea or concept, to executing it well on the day and piecing it all together in post. And all of that could not and would not be possible without the people and team you build around you. When they say "It takes a village," they mean it. It's no understatement.
Shout-out to all the people that came together for this one. Life is always going to happen around us, but we can choose where these roads take us. More to come🙏

This little guy definitely threw a wrench in my fostering plans (and a few other things lol) But I'm realizing now everything happens for a reason and he was meant for me more than I was meant for him🥺❤️ He's a puppy but yet acts like an old man, never whines, sleeps in his crate, can stay in my car or room or whenever without barking and just goes to sleep lol😆 I never wanted a puppy but this baby boy is special and I'm definitely keeping him🥹🫶
Countless times, I've been told that stray dog I found, Brownie, was a gift from my dad. That sent me into visiting animal shelters, volunteering, donating and doing whatever I could do to help. I wanted to foster older dogs and pitties that were less likely to get adopted and easier to manage over puppies yet somehow I knew, I was supposed to have Turbo, named in honor of my dad.
I didn't know where this journey would take me in trying to find some fulfillment in nuturing animals or fill a hole in my heart perhaps. But in a crazy coincidence, I came back home to VA to find my younger brother has been doing the EXACT same thing and volunteering at shelters. My dad was a huge animal lover himself, so I guess he sparked something in us. I was told it's a sign of moving into our dog daddy era or fatherhood and I am totally with it. So with that, please excuse the obnoxious amount of stories I'm going to post with this little guy😆🐾 I will not apologize 😜
Big thank you to everyone who's helped me look after him. From taking him for walks while at the gym or I'm at work, playing with him, dog sitting him while I'm away and more🙏 my only worry is how SPOILED he is going to be by the time I get back🙄😫😒
