To reconnect and gather again, we have prepared something special. Join us on Tuesday, 17th of February, at @kwia.berlin , Berlin, as the iconic listening space opens its doors for the first equilibrio event of 2026. We are excited to welcome back our special guests Agnese Menguzzato and Colombian Drone Mafia, whose performances at equilibrio Festival 2025 still resonate with everyone who witnessed them live on the isola. Agnese Menguzzato (@__hildegarda ), Italian composer based in Berlin, weaves historical and contemporary technologies into immersive sonic landscapes where past and present dissolve. London-based Colombian Drone Mafia (@nyksan_ ) blends synthetic textures with field recordings, creating live rituals that move between the experimental and the archaic — haunting soundscapes that feel both primordial and intimate. Joining the program is fisk (@fisk.wav ) — Berlin-based DJ and artist rooted in bass and club culture, merging activism with artistic expression through a DIY ethos and improvisation. The evening will also feature a special live performance by 6zure (Seizure) and Ossagrosse. Sardinian sound artist @6zure crafts narratives through field recordings and looping melodies that drift between intimacy and imagined worlds. Joined by @ossagrosse__ , whose practice spans image, sound, and video, the duo explores the relationship between humans and machines — reflecting on identity, memory, and the evocative power of noise and transformation. An evening stretching sound across time, memory, and imagination. Doors open at 20:00 — program runs until 01:00. equilibrio festival 2025 started yesterday with an opening concert. @pietrovicentini , @kaanbulak , @reptib1 & @__hildegarda - participants of the first equilibrio music residency, performed special pieces birthed during the 5 days of experimentation and collaboration that happened on site. Inspired by the Sardinian coast, works included field recordings as well as unique samples from the artist’s archives, creating a magical moment among the beautiful landscapes surrounding the stage. This year equilibrio is collaborating with Berlin based platform @esmeromusic .
 equilibrio is a space for experimentation and research within multidisciplinary arts and environmentally conscious initiatives. During October equilibrio operates as an art and music residency which unfolds into a festival on the coast of Sardegna on the 16-19th of the month. 
From the hypnotic rhythms of Forest On Stasys  (Danza Nativa) to the dark, emotional, and profound sonic explorations of Keras (Mint Sound) and energetic, eclectic selection of Indi Zone (Slow Life), each artist represents a different shade of the same immersive energy that defines ESMERO.

Forest On Stasys channels tribal minimalism and abstract techno into resonant, meditative journeys. Keras, with his meticulous selection and narrative approach, digs into obscure gems to shape dark, emotional, and deeply immersive journeys. Our aim is to create an experience that lets you fully engage yourself in nature and surroundings during the four days of the festival. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, you can take part in immersive workshops. Through listening practices and shared explorations, they invite you to notice subtle interactions, connect more deeply with the environment, and carry these impressions into both personal reflection and collective experience. “Do you copy?” by Rustem Imamiev On the radio, the phrase “Do you copy?” is no more than a technical check: “Can you hear me? Did the signal arrive?” Yet outside the radio waves, this simple question expands. What do we truly “copy” when we hear another person? Words, intonations, or the subtle atmosphere carried within a voice? And what do we “copy” when we open ourselves to the sounding world around us? This workshop is a passage from soundcheck into an audio journal, sound pollution exploration, and deep listening. Echoes of Trust By echo-echo An invitation to activate trust through a sonic journey, allowing listeners to feel 
trust in themselves and others, alongside the feelings of fear, hope, and safety. 
In this workshop, you’ll be guided into an immersive sound experience where listening becomes a way of tuning inward and outward. It begins with framing an emotion, then unfolds through sound, music, and resonance, leading into introspection and exploration. This October, equilibrio opens its first music residency with five artists shaping site-specific performances for the festival. Artists will arrive ahead of equilibrio festival to immerse themselves in Sardegna‘s landscapes, exploring and experimenting during the atelier week. What emerges will be performances carrying the imprint of the island — shaped by its winds, rhythms, and silences — transforming the stage into an echo of the place itself. Agnese Menguzzato (@__hildegarda ) is an Italian composer and musician based in Berlin. With a background in violin and Renaissance lute, she has charted her musical path by drawing on historical and contemporary technologies. Pietro Vicentini (@pietrovicentini ) is a drummer, producer, and sound designer based in Milan. His artistic persona is versatile and multifaceted: he produces and releases albums with his band @real_timpani while also performing with his solo project, which focuses on the drums, processed and blended with collected and self-produced materials over time. Berke Can Özcan (@berke_can_ozcan ) is a musician, producer, performing and recording artist, composer, and songwriter born in Istanbul, now residing in Abu Dhabi. Reptilian Expo (@reptib1 ) is the moniker of Riccardo Patrone, head of the multiform fantasy tape label @pampsychia_editions and experienced dancefloor shapeshifter. Kaan Bulak (@kaanbulak ) is currently living and working in Berlin, where he runs the audiovisual label @feralnote with its own production studio and concert salon. Radio Banda Larga and project equilibrio are continuing the media partnership after last year’s festival edition. The entire daytime lineup of Saturday will be streamed on the radio at rbl.media, so everyone can join the festival, even those far from Sardegna. RBL was born in 2012 in Turin, Italy, as an independent and non-commercial radio. Nowadays, it also streams from Berlin and Barcelona, promoting creative integration between different countries, art forms, and disciplines. equilibrio emerged from the desire to develop and connect creative industries in rural areas of Sardegna to the world while exploring innovative ways to reimagine social landscapes. Through art practices, site-specific projects, and events, we aim to reactivate unused spaces, building a community of local residents and international artists, makers, creatives, and architects who collaborate across sectors.
