On Dec 16th, @kyletsetso passed away after a year-long battle with cancer.
I only knew him online, but for 20 years, I witnessed something important. I witnessed a person who had every right to become hardened. A person who had every right to disengage. A person who had every right to become a cynical, hollow shell. Many would and have.
But Kyle didn't.
Kyle kept exploring.
Kyle kept creating.
Kyle kept sharing.
Kyle kept space for those who wanted to accompany him on his journey through life.
I was going to share a drawing of his I found last week that he drew over a decade ago that I had used as a center piece for a forum signature. When I found it, I said to myself "I should show it to him some time soon".
His sudden passing reminded me:
Sometimes, "some time soon" isn't soon enough.
I don't know where I'm going with this, but please take care of yourselves, let someone know you're thinking about them, and try your best in everything you do like Kyle would.
