I recently spent some time with my niece and her family. One morning I woke up to this light on the dresser drawers. At first, I tried to figure out what was causing it. What sliver of morning sun had found its way into the room just so. I decided instead to surrender to this full-on moment of wonder. Still makes me smile.
So happy to have these two triptychs from my series "Skin Deep" included in @artdocmagazine online exhibition "The Abstracted Earth." Thank you Artdoc Magazine! You can check out all the wonderful work at https://www.artdoc.photo/online-exhibition/the-abstracted-earth.

"Fairy Wing" ... symbolize a profound personal metamorphosis, spiritual growth, and the journey from a restrictive state to one of free expression.

Beautiful clouds in the sky, birds singing, breeze blowing. Artemis II in orbit over our heads. Anticipating the full Pink Moon. I love these yellow palo verde flowers and look forward to them each year. They always make me smile and my heart to feel that spring thrill. I think of them as the desert's version of cherry blossoms. A reminder to enjoy each wonderful ephemeral moment. (Sound Up to hear Nature.)
The ARx4 exhibition at @azscience has closed. I wanted to say a big thank you to the PBC Arts Committee for creating the program and providing this opportunity, to @azscience for hosting the exhibit and presentation in the Dorrance Dome, and to @findcontext for their guidance and hard word making it all come to life! I was paired with Dr. Tim Lant, Director of Data Analytics and Coordination at the Health Observatory, Arizona State University. He has my unending gratitude for sharing his knowledge and contributing his work to this art project. Pictured here is one of the 8 pieces Tim and I created to show how he and his team of caring scientists/researchers use math and data to keep our Arizona community healthy. It's been my privilege!
To read more about the project in detail and see the other poster-inspired pieces, head to /paceh83r. A special thank you to @villacustomartframing for the beautiful custom maple frames!
I've been having lots of fun with these collages. Trying to use up studio scraps and discards. Never knowing what's going to appear or why. Hope you have a day that feels so good! 😘
