Cannock Chase is a Labi Siffre song that my best friend showed me a while ago and it instantly became one of those songs that hit me in the soul so deeply I can’t imagine life without it. I love learning how to play songs that I love, so I made a cover. If this was my only cover that I ever dropped I’d be cool with it, it’s a song that says exactly what I feel n I wish I wrote it lol. Took these pics on the move in between New Mexico and AZ. I love the drive because you see a bunch of different biomes all in a day once you hit this point. I just released this song a little over a week ago and wrote it with my buddy @brycebrownmorris
He came up with the verse bassline and I came up with the chorus and bridge idea, then wrote it about feeling lost because it had kind of a whimsical feeling to it almost like ur lost in an adventure. Sometimes though seeing everything wrong with what the most powerful people are doing makes me feel hella lost. Like just living everyday life and feeling like you don’t know what it’s all for because everything you do seems to benefit evil in some way. Like you can’t change anything wrong with the world. Maybe solo it is almost impossible but if we come together then we could shake sum shi up so those are my thoughts put into a song, hope u like it and remember its never too late to stand up for what’s right🧡🧡🧡🧡
