In 2023, I launched The Jackie’s Daughter Endowment as a structured way to support single moms returning to complete their college degrees.
Instead of relying on one major donor, I aligned a network of values-driven contributors around a clearly defined mission. Together, they pooled resources, funded tuition, and shared ownership of measurable impact.
That is philanthropy syndication.
A defined purpose.
A values-aligned network.
Shared investment.
Clear outcomes.
And a disciplined close once the goal is achieved.
The endowment was intentionally designed to do the work well and conclude once the objective was met.
Philanthropy does not have to be indefinite to be impactful. It can be focused, collaborative, and outcome-driven.
Philanthropy syndication is one of the ways I design structured, results-driven impact.#experiences #philanthropy #community #relationships #donorsociety

An intimate donor experience for Opera Carolina designed to bring patrons together in a space that felt warm, intentional, and elevated.
My work lives at the intersection of culture, community, and experience. Every detail matters, because the room is part of the story. #experiences #arts #philanthropy #operacarolina
An evening rooted in connection, creativity, and collective impact.
Friends of Opera Carolina and supporters came together at Stephen Wilson Studio to experience art in a way that felt personal—grounded in conversation, discovery, and purpose.
Thank you to Stephen and Audra for hosting us and for creating such a welcoming and inspiring space.
The experience continues beyond the evening. You can still support Opera Carolina through online purchases now through April 30.#friendsofoperacarolina #operacarolina #art #support #community
1.15.26 A private wine tasting designed with intention …art, hospitality, and community….
Thank you to Yaminah & Co. for partnering with Opera Carolina, and to our caterer for the perfect culinary pairing experience.
We are grateful for our Maestro’s Circle Member, A Culinary Society, for helping make evenings like this possible.
And Ricarrdo flying in from Tuscany to lead us through this tasting… truly next level. I love curating experiences that bring the right people into the right rooms. Speaking of rooms, special shoutout to our builder partners @tollbrothers for the beautiful home. #curated #events #operacarolina #friendsofoperacarolina
The Murder Mystery Party began in 2021 with about 10 people in my living room.
I had a vision for what it could be — and the first version wasn’t it.
I bought the game. I tried it anyway. I learned.
We skipped 2022.
And in 2023, I stopped borrowing someone else’s idea and built the one that lived in my head.
I wrote the characters.
Created the storyline.
Brought the vision to life.
That night changed everything.
Because here’s the part people don’t talk about enough:
the thing you need to elevate your idea is often help — insight, collaboration, perspective.
And help can only meet you where you’re willing to be seen.
If you hide your idea until it’s perfect, it never exists.
If you wait until you have it all figured out, it stays in your head.
You have to be willing to be seen trying.
To make it real first.
To let it be shaped, refined, and strengthened along the way.
That willingness is what took this idea from a living room to a venue — nearly 100 people experiencing something that once only existed in my mind.
This is my purpose.
To take thoughts, feelings, and ideas — and give them form.
To create experiences that move people, connect them, and sometimes change them.
If it doesn’t exist, make it exist.

You don’t wait for the life you want.
You build it. I’m talking room by room, experience by experience, connection by connection.
If it doesn’t exist, I create it. #experiences #events #development #community #arts #procopecurates
People think events are about the moment.
They’re really about what happens after — the conversations, the follow-ups, the relationships. #community #relationships #events #charlotte #philanthropy #experiencedesigner
Always connecting — even when I’m not expecting to.
I was in Miami for work with Opera Carolina, and my girl Lisa Wilkinson was also in town from Charlotte and invited me to join her at the Black Ambition Fundable Founders Forum. Different reasons for being in the same city, same instinct to gather, connect, and build.
This is the work I love — curated rooms, meaningful conversations, and relationships that move ideas and missions forward.
Grateful for the invitation, the energy in the room, and the reminder that connection is always the throughline. @blackambitionprize #Charlotte #miami #capital #connections #events
